Certifications

A 3.1 material certificate to EN 10204 is a document that accompanies a lot: it states the heat the material comes from and its composition, and is issued by the material producer. It is delivered with every lot.

A system certification - ISO 9001, IATF 16949 - is something else: an audit of the company, carried out by an accredited body and renewed periodically. It shows how the supplier works, not what it delivered.

Neither replaces the other. A supplier can deliver impeccable material certificates without holding ISO 9001, and can hold ISO 9001 without issuing the material certificate if it was not required in the order.

These are documents we issue or pass on with every delivery. They do not depend on any system certification and are not conditional on one.

Every part can be traced back to the heat number of its material.

First article inspection

FAI per AS9102, before the series is released.
